  I have been a Wells Fargo customer for 15 years, as far back as when it was Wachovia. I got a cashier's check at a Wells Fargo branch in Raleigh, North Carolina to close on a house in Halifax. Unfortunately, the Raleigh branch failed to sign the authorized signature on the check, so the attorney couldn't take the cashier's check until it was signed. I went to this local branch to get the issue fixed. The teller just looked at me and said no we can't do it if it was issued at another branch. She went to ask her manager and came back and refused to try to fix it and told me I have to drive all the way back to Raleigh. I called the Raleigh branch where they wrote me the cashiers check and the manager there apologized and told me it was clearly their fault and any Wells Fargo should fix it. She was baffled that the Halifax office didn't know how or just didn't want to help. She called the Halifax branch and told them they should fix it. The manager never even came out and apologized or anything. Trying to operate like a local bank defeats the purpose in being a member of a regional bank. This branch is a poor representation of what Wells Fargo stands for.
